Welcome to Attuned Minds

Compassionate, evidence-based therapy for children, parents and adults in Lenzie, Glasgow and online.

When life feels heavy or uncertain, it’s understandable to feel overwhelmed.

Many people I work with describe feeling like their minds just won’t stop; thoughts racing or looping, tension or anxiety that won’t ease, anger appearing out of nowhere, or painful memories surfacing when they’re least welcome. For others, it’s more of a sense of shutting down, going numb, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others.

These experiences don’t mean something’s ‘wrong’ with you.  Feelings like anxiety, anger, or low mood are your mind and body’s way of protecting you from a threat. They are survival responses from your nervous system attempting to keep you safe. Your nervous system is doing the best it can with the resources it has available.

In therapy, we slow things down and get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we’ll explore your patterns, listen to what your nervous system is communicating, develop coping skills and process difficult emotions with care and compassion. Therapy helps you feel less overwhelmed and more in control of how you respond to stress, so you can live the life you want.

I specialise in supporting people who have experienced trauma, anxiety and/or bereavement, as well as neurodivergent individuals and parents or children. My approach is warm and empathic, and I’m committed to creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you can make sense of your experiences and move toward meaningful change.

Therapy is a collaborative process; I bring psychological knowledge and experience, and you bring the lived wisdom of your own story and coping skills.
I draw on evidence-based, mind–body approaches such as EMDR, somatic strategies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, narrative therapy, and parts work.

Therapy offers a space to understand yourself more deeply and to heal from what’s been hard. It’s a chance to move beyond living in survival mode and learn how to live in a way that supports your needs and values.
